Delegates of Port of Vukovar and Tourist Board of Osijek – Baranja County had the honor of participating in Seatrade Europe 2023, the respected fair for cruising and maritime industry, which was held from September 6 to 8 in Hamburg, Germany.
Our main purpose was the promotion of three important rivers of our area – Drava, Danube and Sava – attractive destinations for river cruising and tourism.
Common stand was imposing, with the aim of displaying cultural and natural diversity of Vukovar – Srijem County and Osijek – Baranja County. Many informative materials, brochures and pictures which show beauty of those rivers and tourist attraction were presented to the visitors.
During the fair, we presented potential of cruising on the rivers Drava, Danube and Sava. Main goal is to promote cultural heritage, natural beauty and gastronimic delights of the region.
Ours delegation consecrated special attention and comunication with travel agencies and potential partners in order to promote those rivers as an attractive route for passangers and tourists.
Special attention is paid to sustainability and environmental responsibility on rivers. We presented to the visitors preservation of the environment initiative.
Conclusion:
Visit to Seatrade Europe 2023. was succesfull for Luka- Vukovar and Tourist Board of Osijek – Baranja County. Promotion of rivers as an cruising destination attracted many visitors. We expect our efforts will increase interest in cruising on those beautiful waterways.
