On March 9th, 2020. the company was visited by the Minister of the Ministry of State Property Mario Banožić together with the Head of CERP Milan Plećaš, during which he was acquainted with the operations of Port of Vukovar ( Luka-Vukovar d.o.o.) and pointed out the following: “The strategic position of the port gives the right to consider further investments in attracting a strategic partner who will actively work on increasing passenger and freight traffic. The port is on the external border of the EU and with smart investments can become a leader in the wider region. In cooperation with local self-government, the Government of the Republic of Croatia wants to achieve the set goals of revitalizing the port as a direct aid to the economy of Vukovar and the county. Since the appointment of the new management in 2018, the Port of Vukovar (Luka-Vukovar d.o.o.) has recorded better business results than in a previous years. Since the business policy has changed, a turnaround has been made in the business. “
